USS Niagra Trip --September, 2001

Our first fall trip for fall 2001 was a History/Bike trip to visit the USS Niagra on Lake Erie. This trip was specially designed as an opportunity for our younger Scouts to get into the Troop 380 camping spirit and to hone their "trail to First Class" skills.  It was a great success and a splendid time was had by all.

Here's what it was like:

Commander Cassetti Leads the way...

...and the crew follows.

Who says history can't be captivating?

On the starting line.

These new stove stands are great!

Cleanup isn't, though.

Is it ready yet?

Home, sweet campsite.

Everyone snug and dry.

And the coffee's hot!

Can Tim pat his head and clean up at the same time?
